This event is part of OsloMets marking of World Mental Health Day (verdensdagen.no).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Jessica Dimka will talk about the 1918 influenza pandemic’s mental health consequences / mental illness as risk factor and consequence of the 1918 influenza pandemic.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Carla Louise Hughes is writing a master thesis on the association between the 1918 influenza pandemic and suicides in Norway and will tell us about her preliminary results.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Nan Zou Bakkeli from Consumption Research Norway (SIFO): Rich people are happier than poor people, healthy people are happier than sick people and people in families are happier than single people.
